The location offers a unique charm with easy access to public transport and nearby shops. Rooms have a homely feel, providing essential comfort, which makes for a pleasant stay.
The hotel could use a serious refurbishment. Maintenance is lacking, with some rooms appearing shabby. The heating was unavailable until 9 PM, a significant inconvenience for evening plans or a shower. I also encountered a faulty door lock, leading to safety concerns as I had to leave my door open overnight. Noise from creaky stairs might disturb light sleepers.

The room was lovely with a very good shower and we could help each other for the breakfast. We were not too far from the city center of Belfast.
There was nobody to ask any questions over the weekend and there was no soap in the shower. We were not informed we had to pay an extra 5% on the arrival if we were using our credit card to make the room payment.

The breakfast spread was impressively varied, with fresh bread, ham, and cheeses-just what you need to kick off your day. Plus, the room was snug and quiet, perfect for a good night's sleep after feasting on local delights from nearby spots like Four Star Pizza West Belfast and Wolf and Whistle.
It feels a bit too homely here. While the essentials are covered, a serious sprucing up is needed as some areas look shabby. There was even some painting going on -great effort, but more work's still needed to shine.

It suited our purpose insofar as it was available and at an affordable price. If our journey had been anticipated we could have booked in advance from one of the Budget hotels such as Premier Inn or Travel Lodge.
We have no complaints. We got what we paid for and teh staff were helpful.

Plan for early dinner, as the town's attractions get busy in the evening. Explore local eateries detailed by the host.

Had a great stay at Greenmount! Vivian's hospitality really stood out, and the self-service breakfast had plenty of tasty options. Just a heads up, the parking can get tight, but we managed. A cozy spot in a handy location!
